Option Detailed Itinerary 01:
Day 1: Kathmandu Arrival
As your aircraft lands in Tribhuwan International Airport our representative will receive you and help you to transfer into the hotel of your choice. After a short rest we will start the tour by visiting Kirtipur which is small but historic town situated in the southwest of Kathmandu on a hilltop. The historic town has many things to offers which include old shrines, temples and traditional Newari houses. Drive back to Kathmandu for overnight stay.
Day 2: Drive to Chitwan
Early in the morning after having breakfast we will leave Kathmandu behind us and drive for Chitwan National Park. On the way to Chitwan you can do optional whitewater rafting trip. Alternating between stretches of calm floating and thrilling whitewater rapids, the trip ends after 3-4hours in the village of Mugling Bazaar. From here you can continue the drive to Chitwan National Park. After checking into the hotel we will proceed for Tharu village tour.
Day 3: Explore Chitwan National Park
Chitwan National Park before used to be a royal hunting reserve situated in the lowland of Terai zone in southern Nepal. It provides an habitat to an extraordinary range of world’s rarest wild animals and native and migratory birds. We will start the tour with bird watching, followed by jungle safari on elephant back and canoe ride. In the evening we will enjoy the Tharu cultural show.
Day 4: Drive to Lumbini
After having lunch we drive toward the plains in the southern Nepal to Lumbini which is the birth place of Lord Buddha. The key attraction of Lumbini is the sacred garden, Maya Devi Temple and Ashok pillar which are erected by Emperor Ashok in 249BC.
Day 5: Drive to Pokhara(360km); 7hours
Early in the morning after having breakfast we will start a scenic drive to Pokhara. Pokhara is situated 200km west of Kathmandu at the altitude of 827m from the sea level. Pokhara is one of the most scenic spots of the country whose beauty is enhanced by the lakes of Phewa, Begnas and Rupa.
Day 6: Drive to Sarankot and back to Pokhara
We will wake up very early in the morning and drive to Sarankot to see sunrise over the magnificently snowcapped Himalayas. Sarankot situated in the altitude of 1500m from the sea level gives you an option of paragliding over the lake city. Later we will drive back to hotel and have breakfast. After breakfast we will set off for city tour and visit places like David’s fall, Gupteshwor cave and Tibetan refugee camp. Stay overnight at hotel in Pokhara.
Day 7: Drive back to Kathmandu from Pokhara
After having breakfast we will drive back to Kathmandu by an overland coach which takes around 6hours. Upon arrival to Kathmandu we will check in to the hotel and the evening is free you can either do family shopping or just relax in the hotel room.
Day 8: Drive to Nagarkot
We will start the day by visiting Swoyambhunath stupa which is situated in the hilltop in the west of Kathmandu. Commonly called as the monkey temple, the stupa offers the astonishing view of Kathmandu valley. From here we will drive towards the medieval city of Bhaktapur which is the home of medieval art and architecture. The main square contains innumerable temple and other architectural showpieces like Lion Gate, statue to King Bhupatindra Malla, Golden Gate, iuand the palace with 55windows, Batsaka Temple and the bell of barking dogs. In the evening we will drive towards Nagarkot which is situated 32km east of Kathmandu in the altitude of 2175m. From here one can see Mt Everest in a very clear day. Stay overnight at hotel in Nagarkot.
Day 9: Drive to Kathmandu
We will wake up Early in the morning for the spectacular view of rising sun. As the first rays of the sun strikes into the peaks a hellish red color slowly lightens the whole Himalaya range from Kanchanjunga and Everest in the east to Annapurna and Dhawalagiri in the west. After this we will have our lunch and drive back to Kathmandu. In the afternoon we will visit Patan Durbar Square which is situated in the southern area of the city. The square is dotted with ancient palaces, temples and shrines which are known for their antique and exquisite carvings.
Day 10: Farewell
You will be transferred to Tribhuwan International airport for your onward journey

Option Detailed Itinerary 02:
Day 1: Arrival at Kathmandu.
The Great Adventure Treks has an excellent pickup and drop service in place. A massive sign of you will await you at the premises of Tribhuvan international airport in Kathmandu. You will get transferred in an excellent hotel with a great view. There you can relax, and we will inform you about your tour in detail.
Day 2: Guided tour of Kathmandu Valley.
After a substantial breakfast at the hotel, a tour guide will take you on a tour sightseeing in the famous landmarks of Kathmandu. The first place you will visit is the divine temple of Lord Shiva popularly known as Pashupatinath. The temple is a pilgrimage for Hindus all over the world. From there you will travel to a Buddhist pilgrimage site of Boudhanath. Boudhanath is a holy site with a lot of Tibetan refugees. You can get surrounded in the serenity of the monasteries or get yourself souvenirs like a thangka. The last destination of the day is the beautiful Patan Durbar square. The city of Patan is famous as the city of arts. The exquisite artistry of the locals in wood carving, stone carving, and metal carving will astound you. The trip ends at your hotel where you spend the night.
Day 3: Drive to Chitwan National Park ( 175 ) ( 5-6 hrs).
The six-hour drive from Kathmandu to Chitwan moves along the banks of river Trishuli. The ride will refresh you and prepare you for the tour ahead. At reaching Chitwan, you will get accompanied by a tour manager who will brief you about the nature tour. You will get checked in at the resort hotel where you will loosen up. On the evening local Tharu people will present you with a cultural, and you can binge on tasty local food. You will stay overnight at the resort hotel.
Day 4: Jungle Safari and Nature Tour.
A great adventure awaits you on day 4. After bird watching with the help of an expert. You will come back to the hotel for a delicious breakfast. The tour then quickly moves along to the jungle activities. A jeep safari is a major attraction of the Chitwan national park. The jeep safari can be reserved, or you can share with ten other people. You will spot deers, one-horned rhinos, crocodiles, etc. A rare sighting of the “royal Bengal tiger” is also a possibility. Various other activities are done like elephant bathing, breeding centre visit, boating, etc. you will travel and stay overnight.
Day 5: Travel to Lumbini from Chitwan ( 135 km) (3-4 hrs ).
After early morning breakfast, we proceed to a five- six-hour trip from Chitwan to Lumbini. The sacred city of Lumbini is the birthplace of Lord Buddha. Thousands of pilgrimage pay visit to this holy city everywhere. In Lumbini, we will visit the famous Maya Devi temple and the garden where Lord Buddha took his seven immediate steps. Lumbini is an architectural paradise as it has different monasteries and stupas constructed by various countries all over the world. We will spend the night in Lumbini.
Day 6: Travel to Pokhara from Lumbini ( 170 km ) ( 5-6 hrs ).
On day 6, we will go to Pokhara from Lumbini. On our way, we will stop at the old town of Tansen in Palpa. These cities offer an insight into the “Newari culture and architecture.” After reaching Pokhara, you will check in at the hotel. Pokhara is a scenic little town in the hills of the Gandaki region. You can stroll around the city of Pokhara, especially Lakeside, which has a vibrant nightlife. You will stay overnight at Pokhara.
Day 7: Sunrise at Sarangkot and Sightseeing at Pokhara.
The view of sunrise from Sarangkot is simply breathtaking. You can see the Annapurna Manaslu mountain range in full glory. The Sarangkot also has the take-off site of the only paragliding services in Nepal. After this incredible view of the sunrise, we drive back to our a hotel for a quick lunch. We then resume our sightseeing by driving to the Davis falls, the Davis falls a cascading waterfall in the middle of Pokhara where the water appears to be vanishing at the end. The tour of Mahendra Gufa and Gupteshwor Mahadev follows. We then head to the World peace pagoda from where we can see the sweeping view of the entire Pokhara valley. We then head back to our hotel in Lakeside for rest where we end our day.
Day 8: Travel from Pokhara to Nagarkot ( 230 km) ( 8-9 hrs ).
We leave the city of lakes quite early to Nagarkot. The five-hour drive leads you to a small hilltown of Nagarkot. After loosening up, you get so see splendid view of the sunset from the balcony of your hotel. You will stay overnight at the hotel in Nagarkot.
Day 9: Travel to Kathmandu, free day.
The tour comes to an end at the city of Kathmandu. You have a free day available so you can go on a sightseeing tour of the ancient Basantapur or go souvenir shopping. You can also enjoy the tourist hub of “Thamel”. Get mesmerized at the beauty of the ancient old city.
Day 10: Departure from Kathmandu.
