Best Time for Chitwan National Park Tour
Although Chitwan National Park is open for tourists all year round, the best time to visit it is during the dry season.
But whatever the weather, Chitwan National Park always has something to offer you.
From October to March, the skies are stable and clear with the average temperature around 25-degree Celsius. This makes traveling to Chitwan during these months comfortable.
However, the best time to visit Chitwan to see animals is late January to March. During this time, the villagers cut down the towering grasses making it easier to spot the wild animals.
Monsoon is probably the least favorable time to visit Chitwan. The heavy rain makes Jeep Safari impossible. Most resorts are also closed for business because of the fear of floods.
