The newly elected executive committee of Trekking Agencies’ Association of Nepal (TAAN) led by President Ramesh Dhamala attended the 20th Annual General Meeting of TAAN Pokhara Chapter held in Pokhara on September 30.
During the AGM, officials of TAAN Pokhara Chapter welcomed and felicitated the newly elected office-bearers and executive members of TAAN.
TAAN President Ramesh Dhamala, Senior Vice President Keshav Pandey, 1st Vice President Kami Rinji Sherpa and General Secretary Sagar Pandey addressed the gathering. In their speech, the TAAN office-bearers underlined the need to maintain financial integrity. They also said only a strong TAAN can uphold the interest of the trekking entrepreneurs.
President Dhamala said there is a need to develop tourism products throughout the country in an unbiased manner so that entrepreneurs as well as locals can take optimum benefit from them.
Meanwhile, National Tourism Entrepreneurs’ Association Pokhara Chapter also organized a program in Pokhara to welcome and felicitate the newly elected office-bearers and executive members of TAAN.
