3. Gokyo Ri Trek
An exciting trek to Gokyo Ri. Gokyo Ri Trek is a combination of Gokyo Lake, Gokyo Ri, and Gokyo. Gokyo is a small village at the foot of Gokyo Ri and located on the shore of third Gokyo lake. Gokyo Village will be the base for your trek to Gokyo Ri and Gokyo lake. Once you reach Gokyo on the 8th day of your trek, you will trek to Gokyo Ri and fifth Gokyo lake on the 9th day. The route itself ends at Gokyo Ri, and trekkers typically turn around at this point and retrace their steps back to the trailhead.
