Best season for Nepal Tour
1. Autumn (September to November)
- Weather: Crisp, clear skies with pleasant temperatures.
- Best for: Perfect for trekking, sightseeing, and wildlife safaris. The air is clear, offering spectacular views of the mountains, and it’s an ideal time for jungle activities in Chitwan and outdoor exploration in Pokhara.
- Why: Autumn offers the best weather conditions, with moderate temperatures and minimal rainfall. The landscapes are lush, and the trekking and wildlife-viewing conditions are optimal.
2. Spring (March to May)
- Weather: Mild temperatures, with warmer days and cool evenings.
- Best for: Trekking, jungle safaris, and sightseeing. Spring is another great time for visiting Nepal as the weather is comfortable, and the landscapes are vibrant with blooming flowers, particularly rhododendrons.
- Why: Spring offers clear skies and great weather, making it an excellent time for outdoor activities and wildlife viewing. The flowering season also adds a colorful touch to your journey.
3. Winter (December to February)
- Weather: Cold, especially in the mornings and evenings, but generally sunny and clear during the day.
- Best for: Sightseeing in Kathmandu and Pokhara, with less chance of rain. However, wildlife viewing in Chitwan may be more challenging due to cooler temperatures and wildlife being less active.
- Why: If you don’t mind the cold and prefer fewer tourists, winter can still be a good option, especially for cultural and historical exploration. However, it’s important to pack warm clothes for the chill, particularly in the mornings and evenings.
4. Monsoon (June to August)
- Weather: Hot and humid, with heavy rainfall.
- Best for: This is the least ideal season for this tour. Heavy rainfall can make travel difficult, and the chances of wildlife spotting in Chitwan are reduced due to thick vegetation and rain. Roads and trekking routes may also be slippery and harder to navigate.
- Why: Monsoon season brings lush greenery, but it’s also accompanied by wet conditions, making it less favorable for outdoor activities and sightseeing.

Wounderful Langtang trek
This hiking trip was extremely enjoyable. We climbed a snow-capped mountain at an altitude of 4,980 meters. The weather was great during the hike, the innkeeper was very enthusiastic, and the guide was very responsible. It was a perfect journey.
3rd Nepal Visit
Returning to Nepal for the 3rd time, with aims of attempting 3 x 6000m peaks in the Annapurna region for a month, I knew that working with Mani and The Great Adventure Treks would make for the most enjoyable experience possible. Although weather impacted the success of my trip, I was glad to have the support of Mani and the company to ensure above all a safe adventure. There is no doubt in my mind that I will continue to utilize and recommend The Great Adventure Treks to all who have aims of visiting Nepal! Thank you!
Best trekking and guide!
One of the best treks of my life! My guide, Binod, is so sweet and passionate about his job and knows everything. Without him this would’ve been such a different experience, because he always makes sure you’re happy and comfortable. The organisation was also perfect so I didn’t have to worry about a single thing. Perfect👌

This trip to Nepal was truly unforgettable, and it’s all thanks to The Great Adventure Treks and Expedition. From the very first moment we arrived, everything was perfectly organized — a private car and driver were waiting for us, and we felt cared for every step of the way. A special thank you to our driver Dinesh Ranaphali — always calm, focused, and extremely professional. We felt completely safe and relaxed during all our journeys. Our guide Lil Bahadur was outstanding: his stories, knowledge, and passion for Nepal’s history, temples, and culture made every tour come alive. We experienced so many incredible moments — flying to Everest by helicopter, tasting delicious Nepalese food, exploring stunning temples in Kathmandu, and relaxing in Pokhara with breathtaking Himalayan views. All of this was possible thanks to Mani, whose dedication, kindness, and attention to every detail turned this trip into something truly special. This is not just a tour company — it’s a team that works with heart. Highly, highly recommended. Thank you as well for the wonderful final dinner. Davide & Marta
On this trip, we found The Great Adventure travel agency online. The owner, Mani, is very easy to communicate with and extremely capable when it comes to arranging itineraries. After arriving in Nepal, if there were any adjustments needed, we could always discuss them with him, and he would do his best to help. Thanks to Mani’s arrangements over the past few days, we were able to visit Pokhara and enjoy the beautiful Himalayan views. We traveled there by car and decided to return by flight, and he took care of everything for us. We are very grateful for his help. If we visit Nepal again in the future, we will definitely ask Mani to assist us again.
