Bhutan Tour, Tour Along With 3 Days Trek (Fly In / Fly Out)

Day 01: Arrival Paro Bhutan by Druk Air flight. Drive to Thimpu 2 hrs from Paro.

We will fly to Paro airport in a Druk air. At the airport, your Bhutanese guide will receive you. S/he will drive you to Thimpu. Thimpu is a big city, the capital of Bhutan. The two-hour drive is scenic. After reaching Thimpu, you will check into a hotel. Overnight there.

Day 02: Thimpu sightseeing and drive to Punakha and Wangdi valley sightseeing. Overnight at hotel in Wangdi.

There are various sites with historic, religious, artistic, and cultural importance. We will visit some sites like the memorial chorten, national museum, Tashicho Dzong, Changangkha Lhakhang, and others.

After sightseeing in Thimpu, we will drive to Punakha. The drive is amazing as it passes through the Dochu La pass. At Dochu La, 3100 meters, there are 108 memorial chortens. Also, you can see amazing Himalayan views from the pass. We will see the Punakha Dzong on our way.

We will drive to the Wangdi valley for sightseeing. At the valley, we will visit Wangduephodrang Dzong and the Temple of Sha Radap. After a beautiful day, we will stay at a hotel in Wangdi.

Day 03: Wangdi to Phobjikha.

From Wangdi, we will drive to the bowl-shaped Phobjika valley. The drive is rejoicing. Overnight at a hotel in Phobjika.

Day 04: Phobjikha valley sightseeing

There are many sites for sightseeing in Phobjika valley. Some of them are Gangte Goemba,

Nyelung Dechenling, Khewang Lhakhang, Kumbhu Lhakhang, Damchen Lhakhang, and many others.

The Phobjika valley is popular for the Black-necked Cranes. These are the migratory species of birds that migrate from the Tibetan plateau to the wetlands in Phobjika valley during winter.

Day 05 to 07: Trek from Phobjika to Wangdi via Gogona. Khotokha, and Khuruthang

On our fifth day in Bhutan, we will begin our three days trek.

The trek starts from the beautiful Phobjika valley. Trekking in Bhutan is fun. We will trek through amazing villages, lush jungles, and variable landscapes. From Phobjika, we will trek to Gogona. During the trek, you will see the beautiful Himalayas.

From Gogona, we will begin to trek towards Khotokha. The trek is enjoyable. You will have a splendid time trekking on the amazing trekking trails. The trek is easy and passes through astonishing surrounding vistas.

From Khotokha, we will trek to Khuruthang. While trekking through amazing villages, you can explore the lifestyles, culture, and traditions of local people. You will have an amazing three days trekking in Bhutan. The trek finally ends at Wangdi. Overnight at a hotel in Wangdi.

Day 08: Wangdi to Paro via the drive.

Today, we will drive from Wangdi to Paro. The drive is refreshing. It will take us nearly 3 hours to drive from Wangdi to Paro. After reaching Paro, we will stay at a hotel overnight.

Day 09: Paro city sightseeing and climb to Tiger Nest.

On this day, we will do sightseeing in Paro city. There are different popular sites like Taktsang Palphug, Drukgyel Dzong, Rinpung Dzong, and Kichu Lhakhang. We will visit as many sites as possible based on the time frame.

We will also visit the Tiger Nest monastery, which is a cultural icon of Bhutan. We will drive to the base of the hill. From there, we will hike up to the monastery. The monastery is beautiful. It is built on a rocky cliff. The monastery is famous for sightseeing of Paro.

After sightseeing, we will return back to Paro. Overnight at a hotel.

Day 10: Early morning drive to Paro airport for departure

Today is your last day in Bhutan. After morning breakfast, we will drive you to Paro airport. From there, you will get on a flight back home. And the tour ends.
