The Great Adventure Treks & Expeditions trek and climb to Chulu East Peak at 6,200 meters, one of the classic and promising trips in the worlds popular route Annapurna Circuit or Around Annapurna the famed trekking area since the early 1970’s it is widely trekked and most exciting trek in the whole Himalaya range and probably in this globe offering grand views of the three highest 8000m mountain range from Mt. Annapurna. Mt. Dhaulagiri and Mt. Manaslu mountain range, including arrays of over 7000 to 6000m snow capped peaks. The trail follows the river Marsyangdi all the way to its source at the glacial lake in Manang and beyond, journey passes through rural farm villages, terraced farm fields and traditional villages from the sub-tropic, climate to the arctic landscape, Great Adventure Treks & Expeditions to Chulu East Peak in the Annapurna Circuit (Around Annapurna) adventure leads to the top of the high peaks with time to acclimatize with its professional climbing guides help and support you to the top of the summit on this fabulous adventure and return journey via Thorungla the highest point after Chulu East 6,200 meters top, the trekking highest at 5,416 meters / 17,740 ft. From here the trail descends most of the way to Jomsom passing through the holy site of Muktinath. Note regarding climb:
Chulu East at 6,200m. situated high above the Manang valley with breathtaking views across to the Annapurna’s II, III and IV, Gangapurna, Glacier Dome, Dhaulagiri, Tilicho Peak and Manaslu. The climb is combined with the classic trek around the Annapurna massif, ascending the Marshyangdi valley and crossing the Thorung La, before descending the Kali Gandaki valley with a flight to Pokhara. The climb is technically straightforward and, you should be familiar with the use of your equipment, crampons, harness, ice axe, tying knots and handling climbing ropes. Most of the climbing will be involved walking roped together, including the glacial crossings.
