Annapurna, Manaslu, Ganesh to Langtang, the trek continues towards the south-east of the Valley ridge at Dhulikhel via the famed mountain view spots of Nagarkot and Dhulikhel where one can view the sunrise and sunset over the panoramic Himalayan snow range. After the wonderful time at the mid-hills, this mesmerizing trip ends with Great Adventure Treks Expeditions.

Day 01: Arrive at Kathmandu 1,300m and transfer to Hotel
Day 02: A day in Kathmandu with half day sightseeing tour.

Day 04: Trek to Shivapuri Danda-Ridge 2,563m. 5 hours walk.
Day 05: Trek to Chisopani approx. 2,340m. 4 – 5 hrs walk.

Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu and transfer to Hotel.

Day 02: Half day guided sightseeing tour in Kathmandu.
After your first night in Kathmandu, you will be well informed on arrival about the time for your half day guided sightseeing tour in Kathmandu at places of interest if booked in advance.

Day 03: Drive to Kakani 2,073 trek to Narayan Bhanjyang 4 hrs.
Lying to the northwest of Kathmandu and only an hour drive away from Kathmandu city area, the hilltop is recommended for its quiet surroundings and skyline views of Mt. Gauri Shanker, Langtang, Chobba Bhamare, Ganesh Himal, Manaslu, and Himal-chuli. Journey starts with an hour drive to Kakani from this wonderful spot, walk begins with a slow climb to the ridge on route Pataswar Bhanjyang with a view of Ganesh, Manaslu and Langtang a small hill farm village, trek leads through farm fields and in the cool shade of forest to Narayan Bhanjyang after 4 hours of good walk. Views of Kathmandu Valley can be seen from this spot.

Day 04: Trek to Shivapuri Danda-Ridge 2,563m. 5 hours walk.
After a lovely morning, the walk continues after breakfast towards the northern highest point of this trek at Shivapuri ridge. Walk follows on the gradual path for some time, with the last portion of the steep climb to the Shivapuri ridge for the overnight stop. Shivapuri provides most of the water supply to the Kathmandu Valley. The wildlife sighting here is also excellent as the park has access to wider lands and areas beyond Kathmandu Valley.

Day 05: Trek to Chisopani approx. 2,340m. 4 – 5 hrs walk.
Early morning catch the sunrise with the panoramic views of Langtang & Jugal mountain range, the walk is on gradual path in the beautiful woods of oaks, pines, and rhododendron, walk follows short downhill path with two more hours of pleasant trekking through the serene forest, and then coming out of the forest to a clearing at Chisopani ridge, where the trail from Shivapuri, Kathmandu and Helambu and Gosainkund joins. Chisopani, a small village situated on the ridge overlooking stunning scenery of the Jugal Himal range and Annapurna to the far west with Gaurishanker and Number towards east.

Day 06: Trek to Nagarkot 2,100m. 5 – 6 hrs.
After a wonderful time here at Chisopani, early morning is the best time for the views of the sunrise over the Himalayan range of peaks, continue this lovely walk on the gradual downhill trail towards south-east following the wider dirt road built by the Nepalese Army. After an hour on the good road switch back to the off beaten small shortcut path downhill to Chowki bhanjyang passing through army barrack, on reaching Chowkibhanjyang a small rural village overlooking the eastern side of the Kathmandu valley rim. From here walk continues on the gradual path for few hours passing through the Jarsing Pawa 1,700m, at Jarsing Pawa route diverts to the upper level on the small path, and then descend for short distance to Kartike bhanyang. From this place, an hour climb on the wide trail brings to the popular mountain village at Nagarkot for the overnight stop. Nagarkot, at a height of 2,100 meters above sea-level, this hilltop is visited for viewing beautiful sunrises and sunsets and visitors take delight in the layout of the Kathmandu Valley below, on a clear day Mt. Manaslu, Ganesh Himal. Gauri Shanker can be seen from this very spot.

Day 07: Trek to Dhulikhel 1,550m. 6 hrs.
From Nagarkot with striking views of the sunrise over the magnificent snow-capped mountains, walk follows the winding path with few gentle up hills and some gradual section, passing through number of farm villages and cultivated terraced field on this isolated area, this region is rarely trekked by westerners, it will be a pleasant walk on this less visited route for a while till it joins at Dhulikhel, one of the best Mountain Resorts around the valley rim for panoramic views of mountain range, this old Newar town lies beyond the eastern rim of the Valley with comfortable lodging for extended trips, overnight at Dhulikhel.

Day 08: Drive back to Kathmandu 35 km 1 1/2 hrs journey.  
After a wonderful time in the high Himalayan mid hills, a scenic drive brings you back to Kathmandu.

Day 09: In Kathmandu for independent activities.
In Kathmandu at leisure for last minute shopping and please inform Great Adventure staff for an extra tour in and around Kathmandu Valley.

Day 10: Transfer to Airport for International departure.
Today as per your international flight time, Great Adventure staff will transfer you to the airport with complimentary transport for your final departure from this most scenic country, Nepal.
