Introduction: World’s highest the number one mountain Mt. Everest at an altitude 8,848m (29,028ft) straddle the border with Nepal-Tibet. China, it is much safer climbing from the North face, than the climb from the South is totally different, demanding a life time experience. There are few routes that’s been climbed with much difficulties the Lho –la and Khangsung Face ( East Face) However, to make it accessible we have set the expeditions from the North Face from Tibet, China side. The Great Adventure Treks & Expeditions to Mt.Everest North Face details has been prepared on the experience of our involvement in major Mountaineering Expeditions to Mt. Everest, over the past and present years. GA experience on commercial mountaineering expeditions with support and service of climbing Sherpa’s, High Altitude porters and by expert professional Mountain Guides to the world highest mountains and peaks, with an ultimate destination normal route in Tibet to the summit of Mt. Everest. North Face 8,848m (29,028 ft.).
The Great Adventure Treks & Expeditions will fully support with all the guidance and setting this itinerary has been prepared to offer an outline helping you to design your own expedition schedule program with care. Mount Everest North Face is considerably more impressive than the south (Nepal) side. Towering at 3,000 m from the Rongbuk Glacier, above the Tibetan Plateau, It was from this side of North Face of Everest that the British Expedition in the 1920’s and 30’s came, when Nepal was closed to foreigners. Since its first ascent by the Chinese in 1960, the North Ridge has been climbed numerous times. In the last few years it has received the attention of several commercial expeditions , and with careful planning the same success rates as the south sides are possible. Gaining 8000m is demanding but it is the last 8848m that are the most difficult. After several days of acclimatization with practice climbing, then back at the base camp for the final summit bid with the team of The Great Adventure Treks & Expeditions.

Day 01: Arrive Kathmandu – 1350m
Day 02-03: Sightseeing and Preparation in Kathmandu.
Day 04: Fly to Lhasa, Tibet – 3656m
Day 05: Drive Gyantse 3950m, 265km.
Day 06: Drive to Shigatse (3900m). Overnight in hotel.
Day 07: Drive to Shegar (4350m). Overnight in hotel.
Day 08: Drive to Base Camp (5200m).
Day 9-12: At the Base Camp
Day 13: Trek to intermediate camp (6200m).
Day 14: Advance Base Camp (6500m).
Day 15-54: Climbing Period.
Day 55: Return to Advance Base Camp.
Day 56: Return to Base Camp.

Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive Kathmandu – 1350m.
Upon your arrival in the Tribhuvan international airport, our representative will welcome you and will assist to transfer you to your hotel in Kathmandu. You may relax at your hotel or go around for shopping. In the evening we will organize welcome dinner for you in one of the typical Nepalese restaurants in the heart Kathmandu meanwhile briefing about your adventurous trip will take place. Overnight at hotel.
Day 02-03: Rest in Kathmandu.
Sightseeing and Preparation for Everest Expedition. While the leader attends a formal briefing in the Ministry of Tourism, you will explore the fascinating city of Kathmandu. You will visit famous Stupa, Boudhnath and the popular Hindu pilgrimage site, Pashupatinath Temple. In the late afternoon, the leader will check everyone’s equipment, as Kathmandu is the last opportunity to buy anything missing. You will also get introduced to fellow expedition members and guides. Overnight at hotel.
Day 4: Fly to Lhasa, Tibet – 3656m.
We take an early flight to Lhasa on 4th day, Overnight stay at Lhasa
Day 5: Drive Gyantse 3950m, 265km.
After breakfast at a hotel, leave Lhasa and journey on a four-wheel along the friendship highway. While driving cross the several high passes such as Khambo La and Kharo La, which will provide breathtaking views of the Himalayan range. An enormous glacier rises nearly straight up from the road as the trip passes Kharo La. The drive is absolutely exciting since you pass through many more beautiful Tibetan valleys and quiet villages along the way. Reach Gyantse and overnight at hotel.
Day 6: Drive to Shigatse (3900m). Overnight in hotel.
Morning breakfast then a short visit to Gyantse Dzong. This fort is of the 14th century and offers some of the most wonderful views of Gyantse and the surrounding valley. You will visit the famed and splendid tiered structure Gyantse Kumbum as well which is the largest stupa in all of Tibet. Today you will have a very short drive which takes the only 90km that leads you to the second largest town in all of Tibet. When you arrive in Shigatse you will explore the local market and guide will take you to visit Tashilhumpo Monastery. This monastery is one of the largest functioning monasteries in Tibet. That was able to last through the Cultural Revolution nearly unscathed. Overnight at hotel
Day 7: Drive to Shegar (4350m). Overnight in hotel.
After breakfast, you will leave Shigatse and drive along the Friendship Highway enjoying the breathtaking views of this desert plateau. After passing through the small town of Lhatse the journey crosses Gyatmso La which is the highest pass on your trip. The land quickly descends to plains after Gyatmso La. While driving through the plains you will see many nomadic herders, beautiful countryside, and secluded monasteries. Overnight at guest house.
Day 8: Drive to Base Camp (5200m).
After breakfast, you will leave Shegar and drive along the Friendship Highway enjoying the breathtaking views of this desert plateau. After few hours drive, we will finaly reach the base camp.
Day 09-12: At the Base Camp.
We Spend good four days at the base camp to become accustomed to a new climate or new conditions. Our Climbing guide will brief about the expeditions through out the acclimitazation period.
Day 13: Trek to intermediate camp (6200m).
On the 13th day, we trek to the intermediate camp and stay overnight at a camp.
Day 14: Advance Base Camp (6500m).
We will trek to Advanced Base Camp, after reaching, our guide will give a final briefing before climbing the mountain.
Day 15-54: Climbing Period.
On the 15th day, we will start our climb of the Mount Everest North Face. The total climbing period is 39 days.
Day 55: Return to Advance Base Camp.
On 55th day, we will trek down to Advance Base camp, Overnight stay at the Advance Base camp in a tent.
Day 56: Return to Base Camp.
Next day, we trek down to Base camp.
Day 57: Cleaning up Base Camp.
Next day, we spend our day cleaning all the garbages thrown by us while trekking and climbing period. Overnights Stay at Base Camp
Day 58: Drive to Shegar. Overnight in hotel.
Early morning, We start our journey back driving to Shegar. We will stop for a breakfast in between. Upon reaching Shegar, We will stay overnight in a hotel.
Day 59: Drive to Shigatse. Overnight in Hotel.
After Breakfast, We drive to Shigatse from Shegar, we stay overnight in Shigatse.
Day 60: Drive to Gyantse. Overnight in Hotel.
After breakfast, we will drive to Gyantse from Shigatse. We will stay overnight in Gyantse.
Day 61: Drive to Lhasa. Overnight stay.
We leave early morning for Lhasa, We will stop for breakfast in between, Overnight stay at Lhasa.
Day 62: Fly back to Kathmandu, Nepal.
We take an early flight to Kathmandu, Nepal. Upon reaching Kathmandu, you will be transferred to a hotel.
Day 63: Rest Day in Kathmandu.
You can go for a city tour and wander around the city, try Nepalese cuisine, meet new people and enjoy the vibrancy of Nepali culture before you leave for your next destination.
Day 64: Final Departure.
Our representative will drop you off at the airport for your next destination.

World heritage tour
We are group of five people book tour with The Great Adventure. We visited swyambhu ath, patan, pasupati, Bouddhanath. Kathmandu Daurbar square. nepal is rich for culture and world heritage site, our guide was very informative and we had great time.

I recently completed the Ghorepani – Poon Hill – Tadapani – Ghandruk trek (3–4 days), and it was an unforgettable experience in the Annapurna region. The landscapes were incredibly diverse—lush forests, peaceful mountain trails, and beautiful villages—ending with the charming atmosphere of Ghandruk. The highlight was definitely the sunrise at Poon Hill, with stunning panoramic views of the Himalayan ranges. A big part of what made the trek so smooth and enjoyable was our guide, Mr. Binod, our Porter Mr. Tubonat and Mr. Chandra. He was professional, friendly, and very attentive—always managing the pace well, checking on our condition, and making sure everything was organized along the way (tea houses, breaks, and route guidance). His support and calm attitude made the journey feel safe and comfortable from start to finish. What an amazing experience i had with the great adventure team. We went to ghorepani and poonhill trek. The view was magnificent and breathtaking. The hotel and accomodation were really good and comfy. The porter waa really helpfull. Couldn’t wait for next trip with great adventure trip
