The treks Start from Pokhara

The trip with The Great Adventure Treks & Expeditions to Ghorepani-Pun Hill leads to a short circuit in the southern part of Annapurna Himal range, the treks start from Pokhara. A magnificent scenic town-city with awesome of views of Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, Manaslu including the towering Mt.Macchhapuchere (the Fish Tail) the unclimbed peak. Pokhara with its beautiful lake Phewa and Begnas with the reflection of the snow-capped mountains and hills. This trek combines wonderful mountain scenery and with ancient traditions cultural variations of rural farms and villages. The trail leads towards the dense forest of rhododendrons and magnolia. Passing through rainforest and gorge between the massive green hill.

Worlds Three Highest Mountain Range

Once into the top of Ghorepani and at Poon Hill surrounded by worlds three highest mountain range Mt. Annapurna (26,545ft-8,091m) Mt.Dhaulagiri massif mountain range and as far towards east to Mt. Manaslu, other major peaks includes Annapurna South (23,693ft-7,219m), Gangapurna (24,457ft.-7,455m) and Annapurna, return walk descend through the lush terraced Modi Khola  valley. And completing this wonderful trip at Pokhara. A popular destination with its famed Phewa Lake, dominated by the towering mountain range of Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Manaslu range including the majestic peak Machapuchere (Fish-Tail). Day 01: Arrival pick up from airport transfer to hotel

Day 02: Half day sightseeing tour of Kathmandu

Day 03: Drive or take a flight from Kathmandu to Pokhara

Day 04: Drive from Pokhara to Nayapul by car which takes 1 and half hours. Now begin your trekking from Nayapul (1050m.) to Tikhedhunga via Birethanti which takes about 4 hours.

Day 05: Trek from Tirkhedhunga to Ghorepani (2874 m.) and it takes about 6 hours.

Day 06: Trek from Ghorepani to Poon Hill (3,210m.) to Tadapani which takes about 5 and half hours.

Day 07: Trek from Tadapani to Ghandruk and it takes about 3 hours.

Day 08: Trek from Ghandruk to Nayapul which takes about 5 hours.

Day 09: Drive/fly back Pokhara to Kathmandu.

Day 10: Airport drop for your further destination.

Day 01: Arrival pick up from airport transfer to hotel

Our representative will come to collect you at the airport and take you to Hotel this day you will have your relax time in Kathmandu.

Day 02: Half day sightseeing tour of Kathmandu

Early morning, after breakfast, you will be taken for a cultural tour of Kathmandu city. Some of the main highlights will be Pashupatinath Temple, Swayambhunath, Boudhanath, Kathmandu Durbar Square,  Patan Durbar.

Day 03: Drive or take flight from Kathmandu to Pokhara.

After breakfast, we take early morning drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara which takes you about 6 hours, in the evening you will have time to look at Fewa lake. And if you prefer traveling via flight then we will arrange flight tickets. Flights take roughly 30 mins, and you can enjoy the half leisure day in Pokhara.

Day 04: Drive from Pokhara to Nayapul by car which takes 1 and half hours.

Now begin your trekking from Nayapul (1050m.) to Tikhedhunga via Birethanti which takes about 4 hours.

Day 05: Trek from Tirkhedhunga to Ghorepani and it takes about 6 hours.

On the 4th day, we trek to Ghorepani from Tikhedhunga, we start our trekking early in the morning and stop for breakfast in between and continue to trek. We stay overnight at Ghorepani.

Day 06: Trek from Ghorepani to Poon Hill to Tadapani which takes about 5 and half hours.

Early morning trip to Poon Hill to enjoy the sunrise view over Mt. Dhaulagiri, Tukuche Peak, Nilgiri, Varaha Shikhar, Mt. Annapurna I, Annapurna South, Annapurna III, Machhapuchhre, Annapurna IV, Annapurna II, Lamjung Himal and other numerous snowcapped mountain peaks. After breakfast trek Ghorepani to Tadapani.

Day 07: Trek from Tadapani to Ghandruk and it takes about 3 hours.

Today you will have a short and beautiful day, although you will have gentle downhill you still see a nice view of Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, Fishtail etc and you will have a chance to visit ACAP Headquarter and Gurung Museum.

Day 08: Trek from Ghandruk (1950m.) to Nayapul (1050m.) which takes about 5 hours.

Today you are descending down to Nayapul, your first hour you are going down with a good view of the mountain on north up and nice river view falling into the south, 1 hour stiff down to Syauli Bazaar and Last 2 hours you are just walking along the Modi River.

Day 09: Drive/fly back Pokhara to Kathmandu.

On the 8th day, we return back to Kathmandu from Pokhara. You could take a bus or a flight back to Kathmandu. A flight duration is 40 min approx. while if you take a bus then its a 7 hrs ride. if you want to spend a day in Kathmandu and do some last minute shopping and rest as well then flight is what you need to take, but if you want to enjoy the beautiful view along the side of the road to Kathmandu, then you definitely should take a bus.

Day 10: Airport drop for your next destination.

Our representative will drop you off at the airport for your flight back home or to your next destination.

  • Accommodation in Kathmandu and Pokhara in a 3-star hotel.
  • Half day sightseeing tour of Kathmandu.
