Day 01: Arrive at Kathmandu and transfer to Hotel.
On arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport meet our staff with Great Adventure Treks & Expeditions complimentary transport transfer to relevant Hotels, our guide will give you briefing of the Hotel, Kathmandu, Trek & climb and related information that you might require while in Nepal with Great Adventure Treks & Expeditions.
Day 02: Half day guided sightseeing tour in Kathmandu.
After your first night in Kathmandu, you will be well informed on arrival about the time for your half day guided sightseeing tour in Kathmandu at places of interest if booked.
Day 03: Drive to Jagat 960m 6 hours 6 – 7 hours drives.
Morning travel by bus towards Charikot a hill town with panoramic scenery of Mt. Gaurishanker, Melungatse and other high snow capped mountain Range. This is an interesting drive through the foothills of the Himalaya. The road has been greatly improved in recent years. An interesting 7 hours drive from Kathmandu, the drive passes through many rural villages and town, with occasional view of the peaks. Our journey finally ends at the low warm area at Jagat for overnight stop, Jagat a farm village of Hindus inhabitants’ of Chhetries, Brahmans and Dalits via the Gongar Khola (river)
Day 04: Trek to Simigaon 2,000m. 5 – 6 hrs.
Leaving Jagat towards Gongar khola upstream, the trail continues along the west bank of the Tama Koshi, which narrows into a gorge then reaching at Chetchet and its beautiful waterfall. Having trekked almost the same height as our starting point after an hour or more walk, Shortly afterwards crossing the Tama Kosi river and make a steep climb for an hour to the village of Simgaon, after the steep portion the walk leads to gentle up to the village of Simigaon, camping beside a Gompa 30 minutes above the main village with more fantastic views of Mt. Gaurishanker.
Day 05: Trek to Dovan 2,850m. 5 – 6 hrs.
After leaving Simigaon, route leads towards north, starting the trek on the slow uphill climb passing through the thick rhododendron and magnolia forests and summer pasture with several clearing that are used for grazing. Walk continues contouring above the hill side and then descending to the river passing more huts in an area called Gyalche. After reaching the valley floor crossing a small wooden bridge to the camp at Dovan, a small clearing in the forest on the steep valley side.
Day 06: Trek to Beding 3,690m. 5 – 6 hrs walks.
From here crossing the Rolwaling khola, leading through the forests of pines, rhododendrons, hemlocks and oaks, the route heads to a winding gradual climb then reaching to a clearing a small settlements of Nyimare, Ramding and through the farm fields and reaching at Beding for the overnight camp after a good walk of five hours or more with free time to visit the Beding village. It is the principal Sherpa village in the Rolwaling Valley area, situated in a narrow gorge with a well-positioned Gompa, comprising about thirty-six houses, this villages straddles close to Tibet border with views of Mt.Gaurishanker and Melungatse at close range, there is a Hillary school in Beding.
Day 07: Trek to Na Gaon 4,180m. Approx. 3 – 4hrs walks.
From this mountain village the last permanent settlements for many days till Thame and Namche Bazaar in Khumbu of Everest area, as the walk progress you can feel the increasing altitude and the cold chill from the surrounding high mountains. Today a short trekking of 3-4 hours following the Rolwaling River, taking slowly on this high altitude landscapes with its beautiful views of the surrounding high mountains and valleys. Na valley opens out glaciated U-shape. On reaching to overnight camp at Na which is a scattered village and a temporary settlement of the villagers of Bedings people, it is a summer grazing pasture and potatoes are grown. There is a roughly built monastery here.
Day 08: Rest day at Na Gaon.
Rest day for acclimatization and short hikes on these high valleys of Rolwaling before heading towards the high Tashi Labtsa pass, climb of Pachermo peak and towards Khumbu.
Day 09: Trek to Kabuk at Tsho Rolpa 4,560m. 5 – 6 hours.
After a great time at Na adventure begins from here onwards, morning walk starts crossing the river to the south bank and then following a shallow stream to cross near Yersa at Sangma, the last place of the cattle herders, then after the wooden bridge climbing up on moraines, traversing steeply above the main stream finally reaching the moraine, behind the dam of Tsho Rolpa, the lake sometime known as Cho Pokhari, campsite on the sandy ground on the south side of Tsho Rolpa at Kabuk after 5-6 hours of hard walk, from this camp offering impressive views of the surrounding peaks including Tsoboje 6,689m. Dragker-Go 6,793m.
Day 10: Trek to Drolambau Glacier at Tashi Labtsa base camp 5,400m. 5 hrs.
From camp the path traverses the moraine above north side from the lake, continuing right along the moraine, occasionally passing rocks overhangs, as the walk follows high slopes above the glacier to avoid the lower section, but further up we have to trek along the centre on the hard rocky glacier to our camp below the Drolambu ice-fall.. Around this section there is some danger sometime of rock falls. The middle moraine providing a route up the glacier, we then stop for the overnight on finding a suitable campsite where the glacier flattens out, here we will be surrounded by superb high mountain scenery in this wild and impressive place.
Day 11: Climb towards Tashi-Labtsa Pass 5,755m and set Pachermo BC.
Today is the main high light of this journey, starting well before sunrise following the glacier again for an hour and half, then reaching a spur which gives an easy access to our route on the upper glacier? Here fixing ropes and making steps and ledge for the porters, although the terrain is not so difficult, just a precaution that must imply in this kind of mountain landscapes. After everything is set for the final climb, a further 3-4 hours climb amidst wild and mind-boggling scenery leads to the top of the pass at the highest point of this trek at Tashi Laptsa pass, where there are Buddhist prayer flags and cairns.
Day 12: Rest day preparation for the climb.

Day 13: Climb of Pachermo and return to base camp.
From a the camp cross the wide crevassed snow slopes to gain the ridge of Parchamo, rising from the broken glacier of the pass, the climb follows with little difficulties although in some conditions crevasses might give problems towards the summit. The high light of this adventure, starting before sunrise following the glacier for 2 hrs then reaching a spur offering an easy access to the upper glacier, here GA expert guide will fix ropes, although the path is not so difficult, just a precaution in this mountain terrains. After all is set for the final climb, a further 3-4 hours climb in this wild and impressive climb leading to the top summit of Parchamo highest point of this trip, after the climb descend back to the base camp near Tashi Laptsa.
Day 14: Reserve day in case of bad weather.
A reserve day which is important in the climb as the Himalayan weather are unpredictable some times.
This is the longest day of trekking to reach the camp other side of the pass before dark, walk follows downhill for another 3-4 hours towards Ngole and further near past the glacial pond of Parchemuche-tsho and just before Tengpo for the overnight camp at around 4,900m.
Day 15: Trek to Thame 3,800m. 5 hrs.
From here trek follows east the trail is well marked and continues long downhill the upper reaches of the Thame Khola to Thengpo, with excellent views of Mt.Ama Dablam, Mt.Makalu and Lumding Himal above the Thame Khola, after an hour or more arriving at dozen or so Sheppard’s huts that makes this place Thengpo with wide pasture field, two hours of gradual descend will bring to the end of walk at Thame Village At Thame there is an old interesting Monastery at the upper end of the village. Thame, the old trade route over the Nangpa-la into Tibet branches north follows another Bhote Koshi, which joins the Dudh Kosi further down.
Day 16: Trek to Namche Bazaar 3,450m. 5 hrs.
Today a nice walk to Namche Bazaar, an interesting rich Sherpa town-village and an important trading centre for a weekly Saturday Market, fresh foodstuffs are brought up from lower villages to barter or sell. A pleasant walk through the green forest brings at Namche Bazaar after 3-4 hours trek.
Day 17: Trek to Lukla 2,800 via Phakding 2,630m. 6 – 7 hrs.
A downhill walk today from Namche an hour trekking brings to Dudh Kosi, following most of the way at Phakding, from here crossing the long suspension bridge with a short climb into the pine woods, the walk will be on the busy path of trekkers, locals, porters and pack animals, the gentle trail follows the well worn path with few short uphill the only long climb will be just before Lukla which will take approx 35 minutes from the old big oak tree. On reaching Lukla, prepare for the last day great dinner and a party with the fellow Sherpa crew, porters and trekking members.
Day 18: Fly to Kathmandu and transfer to Hotel.
As per the flight time, (sometime the flight delays due to bad weather), this scenic flight 30 minutes to Kathmandu offers panoramic views of high mountain. On reaching Kathmandu, Great Adventure staffs transfer you back to Hotel after a great trip in the high Himalaya.
Day 19: Free day in Kathmandu at leisure.
A free day in Kathmandu, inform Great Adventure staff if you would like to go on another short tour in and around Kathmandu Valley.
Day 20: Transfer to Airport for the International departure.
Today as per your international flight time Great Adventure staff will transfer you to the international airport for your final departure from the heart of Himalaya Nepal.
