The name Seti Karnali is a combination of two beautiful and long rivers flowing in the southern part of Nepal. Seti rivers flow from the southern part and joins Karnali river at the lower ends. It is popular for fishing and white-water rafting, there are many fishing points in this 172 KM distance. The places like Kohelpur, Jungle Ghat, Scorpion beach, God's House, Juicer, Flip and Strip, Thulighat, Rato Bhale Gaun, are the famous place for fishing in this river. You can expect to catch many species of fish including silver mahseer (Tor tor), Sahar, Bokar, giant catfish and many more.
You will have fun camping and catching fish during your 12 days trip. Seti Karnali river fishing is a unique trip which allows you to fish in one of the main rivers of Nepal. It is a combination of fishing, camping and rafting which will provide a unique experience for those who are seeking adventure.
Outline Itinerary
Day 01: Pickup from airport and transfer to your hotel.
Day 02: Kathmandu Fly to Nepalgunj and drive to Kohalpur near the river and camp.
Day 03: Fishing Activity.
Day 04: Camp at Scorpion beach and start fishing.
Day 05: Fishing at Scorpion beach.
Day 06: Rafting to God’s House and fishing there.
Day 07: Today you will Raft toward Seti Karnali and start fishing and camping.
Day 08: Today is all about fishing.
Day 09: Today we will raft towards Thulighat and fishing with camping.
Day 10: A day at Rato Bhale Gaun, fishing and camping.
Day 11: Rafting to Ghat Gaun and fishing.
Day 12: Rafting to Chisapani , drive to Nepaljung and fly back to Kathmandu.
Day 13: Final departure to sweet home
Itinerary
Day 1: Pickup from airport and transfer to your hotel.
Welcome to Nepal! Upon your arrival, our representative will greet you at Tribhuvan International Airport and transport you to the finest hotel at Thamel. After some rest at the hotel, you’ll join our team meet-up in the office. During this program, you will meet and greet with your guide. In the evening, you can stroll around the main tourist area of Kathmandu.
Day 2: Drive/Fly to Nepalgunj again drive to Kohalpur and drive near the river and camp.
From kathmandu Airport fly to Nepaljung for about 1 hour, after arrival at Nepalgunj airport our staff will pick up you and drive all the way to chisapani and stay overnight .
Day 3: Fishing Activity.
Today, your day starts with Rafting and fishing. You will then set up camp in the evening while you enjoy the fish that you caught.
Day 4: Camp at Scorpion beach and start fishing.
After having breakfast we will walk towards the beautiful beach called scorpion beach where we will spend the day fishing.
Day 5: Fishing at Scorpion beach.
This is place what you can have more fish so enjoy all day in fishing.
Day 6: Rafting to God’s House and fishing there.
From the scorpion beach we will raft down towards the God’s house. After reaching the god’s house we will be busy fishing and rafting the whole day. The night will be at tented camp.
Day 7: Today you will Raft toward Seti Karnali and start fishing and camping.
Today we will raft towards beautiful Seti Karnali which a river is formed by mixing Seti river and Karnali.
Day 8: Today is all about fishing.
Enjoy with difference kinds of fishing .
Day 9: Today we will raft towards Thulighat and fishing with camping.
Today, we will raft towards ThuliGhat and fish there. At the end of the day we will rest in a tent.
Day 10: A day at Rato Bhale Gaun, fishing and camping.
Today we will move towards Rato Bhale gaun where we will camp and start fishing.
Day 11: Rafting to Ghat Gaun and fishing.
We will raft towards GhatuGaun enjoying the surroundings and start fishing and camp there.
Day 12: Rafting to Chisapani and head back to Kathmandu.
Today is the final day of trip , you will trek to Chisapani and from there drive to Nepalgunj catch our flight to Kathmandu.
Day 13: Final departure to sweet home
Time for goodbye! This is your final day with us. Depending on your flight scheduled time, our representative will see you off to the airport. We wish you a safe journey and hope to see you soon!

Wounderful Langtang trek
This hiking trip was extremely enjoyable. We climbed a snow-capped mountain at an altitude of 4,980 meters. The weather was great during the hike, the innkeeper was very enthusiastic, and the guide was very responsible. It was a perfect journey.
3rd Nepal Visit
Returning to Nepal for the 3rd time, with aims of attempting 3 x 6000m peaks in the Annapurna region for a month, I knew that working with Mani and The Great Adventure Treks would make for the most enjoyable experience possible. This trip to Nepal was truly unforgettable, and it’s all thanks to The Great Adventure Treks and Expedition. On this trip, we found The Great Adventure travel agency online. The owner, Mani, is very easy to communicate with and extremely capable when it comes to arranging itineraries. After arriving in Nepal, if there were any adjustments needed, we could always discuss them with him, and he would do his best to help. Thanks to Mani’s arrangements over the past few days, we were able to visit Pokhara and enjoy the beautiful Himalayan views. We traveled there by car and decided to return by flight, and he took care of everything for us. We are very grateful for his help.
