On our Paro valley- Wangdi- Thimpu valley tour, we will visit the wonderful touristic destinations in these three places. Paro, a city in Bhutan is the only city with an airport. The Paro valley is beautiful geographically. The splashing Paro river makes the valley even more beautiful.

Wangdi valley, a popular touring destination in Bhutan is a beautiful place to wander. At the valley, there are many famous places where you can go for sightseeing.

And now the Thimpu valley. Thimpu is the capital of Bhutan. It is a really beautiful valley with lots of historical and cultural sites. Thimpu is also popular for visiting the national museums, radiant streets, stores selling arts and architectural pieces of stuff, and so on.

This 8 days Bhutan tour is a wonderful tour. The most popular time of the year for touring in Bhutan is during Autumn and Spring. These seasons are popular for their amazing weather conditions. Bhutan tours are doable at any time of the year. You can plan a tour whenever you have spare time.

Day 01: Arrival Bhutan by Druk Air. Transfer to hotel. In the evening an orientation on Bhutan. Overnight at hotel.

Day 02: Paro valley sightseeing. Overnight in hotel.

Day 03: Morning excursion to Taktsang Monastery. Afternoon drive to Wangdi Phodrang. Overnight at hotel.

Day 04: Sightseeing of Punakha & Wangdi valleys. Overnight at Wangdi.

Day 05: Visit to Phobjikha valley. Back to Wangdi for overnight.

Day 06: Early morning drive to Thimpu. Thimpu valley sightseeing. Cultural programme of mask dances. Overnight hotel.

Day 07: Sightseeing of Dechencholing valley. Back to Paro. Overnight hotel.

Day 08: Drive to Paro airport for departure.

Day 01: Arrival Bhutan by Druk Air.

The tour begins with a flight to Paro airport in Bhutan. Our guide in Bhutan will receive you at the airport. S/he will transfer you to your hotel in Paro. Take a rest. In the evening, you will have an orientation on our scheduled tour to Paro, Wangdi, and Thimpu valley. Overnight at the hotel in Paro.

Day 02: Paro valley sightseeing.

Paro, 2200 meters, is a beautiful valley towards the west of the capital city, Thimphu. Besides the airport, Paro is popular among tourists as an amazing valley for sightseeing. There are many historical and sacred sites in Paro valley. Some of them are the Taktsang Palphug, Drukgyel Dzong, Rinpung Dzong, Kichu Lhakhang, and several others.

We will be visiting the beautiful sites on the Paro sightseeing day today. After sightseeing, we will return to the hotel for overnight.

Day 03: Morning excursion to Taktsang Monastery. Afternoon drive to Wangdi Phodrang.

Takstang Monastery, commonly known as Tigers Nest monastery is a beautiful historical and religious site in Paro, Bhutan. From our hotel, we will drive to the foot of the cliff where the monastery is. From there, we will hike up to the monastery through lush jungles and stone steps. The monastery is beautiful. There is a cave where Guru Padmasambhava meditated for more than 300 years.

The site is equally popular for Paro valley sightseeing. After visiting Takstang monastery, we will return to Paro. There, we will have lunch and will drive to Wangdi Phodrang. Overnight at a hotel in Wangdi.

Day 04: Sightseeing of Punakha & Wangdi valleys.

Today, we will have a guided sightseeing tour in Punakha and the Wangdi valley. In Punakha, we will visit the famous Punakha Dzong, Punakha bridge, and some other sites. In Wangdi valley, there are some historic and religious sites like Wangduephodrang Dzong and Temple of Sha Radap.

Also, there are beautiful villages like Gasleo, Nahee, Rinchegang, and others. At these villages, you can observe the traditional Bhutanese lifestyle, culture, and traditions. After sightseeing, we will stay overnight at a hotel in Wangdi.

Day 05: Visit Phobjikha valley. Back to Wangdi for overnight.

The Phobjikha Valley, also called as Gangteng valley is a popular tourist destination in Bhutan. There is a monastery named Ganteng monastery there. The valley is a U-shaped glacial valley. This valley is popular for the sightseeing of a migratory bird species called black-necked cranes. These birds migrate from the Tibetan plateau to the wetlands in Phobjika valley, Bhutan during winter.

Day 06: Early morning drive to Thimpu. Thimpu valley sightseeing and cultural programmes in Thimpu.

Early in the morning, we will drive to Thimpu valley, the capital of Bhutan. After arriving in Thimpu, we will have guided sightseeing tours to the popular touristic destinations in Thimpu. We will visit the memorial chorten, Tashicho Dzong, folk heritage museum, the national museum, Changangkha Lhakhang, and many others.

After a sightseeing tour in the valley, we will go to the cultural programme in Thimpu. There, you can see the traditional mask dances. In the evening, we will walk around the vibrant markets in Thimpu. Overnight in a hotel at Thimpu.

Day 07: Sightseeing of Dechencholing valley. Back to Paro. Overnight hotel.

Today, you will have a guided sightseeing tour of Dechencholing valley. The major attraction of the valley is the Dechencholing Palace. The palace in Thimpu lies 4 kilometres north of Tashichho Dzong. From your hotel, you have to drive 7 kilometres north to reach there.

After the sightseeing, we will drive to Paro. we will pass through striking surrounding views. We will see the Paro airport. Driving along Paro riverbank is fun. On our way, we will see many dzongs and temples.

Overnight in Paro. Prepare for your flight tomorrow.

Day 08: Drive to Paro airport for departure.

From your hotel, we will drive you to the airport. From Paro airport, you will take a flight. It’s time for departure.
