A deservedly popular and medium length of river trip is combining exhilarating white water with fine scenery. One of the famous names of Himalayan Rivers, The Kali Gandaki raises in Mustang an enclave of Nepal Poking into Tibet on the other side of the Himalayas here; it is a flat and braided river, flowing in an arid open valley. As it tumbles down between the majestic Dhaulagiri and the Annapurna ranges, it creates one of the world's deepest gorges. The explorer Michael Peissel ran this stretch of the river in a small hovercraft in 1973 and at least two other groups have rafted and kayaked in this section.
All day you have to continuous keeping paddlers busy against all technical rapids on the Kali Gandaki River. Both experienced and novice rafters love this. Nowhere else is it possible to find such diversity on a 3 day raft trip. Nice drops, sparkling chutes and turbulent rapids provide class III to IV+ runs during the fall and spring seasons.

Wonderful first trip to Nepal!
Wonderful trip experience for my first time in Nepal. The Tour operator was very flexible with my schedule and allowed for accommodation to fit my needs. Great communication with Mani. I would highly recommend not only this Tour about this tour operator for any travel experiences. You have in areas that they serve. I will definitely use next time.
A wonderful trip to Nepal
Upon our arrival in Kathmandu, Nepal, we were warmly received by Mani, a Nepalese travel agent, who arranged everything meticulously, making us feel right at home. The hotels he arranged were excellent. Although we had been informed of the itinerary via email beforehand, he still came to the hotel on the first day to personally review the arrangements. He also sought our feedback to adjust the arrangements according to our needs. My husband had developed allergic pharyngitis due to the smog and was constantly coughing. Mani was always concerned about his well-being and provided helpful information, enabling us to see a doctor and take medication promptly, and now his condition has improved. We were very grateful. We are very grateful for the work of MANI and his team, which made our trip to Nepal unforgettable, smooth, and safe. We will recommend you to our friends when we have the opportunity.
One of the best treks of my life! My guide, Binod, is so sweet and passionate about his job and knows everything. Without him this would’ve been such a different experience, because he always makes sure you’re happy and comfortable. The organisation was also perfect so I didn’t have to worry about a single thing. Perfect👌
I recently completed the Ghorepani – Poon Hill – Tadapani – Ghandruk trek (3–4 days), and it was an unforgettable experience in the Annapurna region. The landscapes were incredibly diverse—lush forests, peaceful mountain trails, and beautiful villages—ending with the charming atmosphere of Ghandruk. The highlight was definitely the sunrise at Poon Hill, with stunning panoramic views of the Himalayan ranges. A big part of what made the trek so smooth and enjoyable was our guide, Mr. Binod, our Porter Mr. Tubonat and Mr. Chandra. He was professional, friendly, and very attentive—always managing the pace well, checking on our condition, and making sure everything was organized along the way (tea houses, breaks, and route guidance). His support and calm attitude made the journey feel safe and comfortable from start to finish. I highly recommend Mr. Binod if you’re looking for a well-guided, stress-free trekking experience in Nepal and tour The Great Advanture.
