The Mount Kailash at 6,714m / 22,028ft situated to the north of the Himalayan barrier, wholly within Tibet.
It is the perfect mountain with awesome beauty, with four great faces; the eastern face is believed to be crystal, the western ruby, the southern sapphire and the northern gold.
It is The Spiritual Center For Four Great Religions
Tibetan Buddhism, Hinduism, the Jain religion and the pre-Buddhist animistic religion-Bonpo.
To Tibetans, it is known as Khang Rimpoche (Precious Jewel of Snow) and they see it as the navel of the world.
It is said that a stream from the mountain pours into a nearby lake and from here rivers flow in the four cardinal directions.
The Spiritual Center Of The Universe
For the Hindus, their spiritual center of the universe, described as a fantastic ‘world pillar’ 84,000 miles high, around which all else revolves, its root in the lowest hell and its summit reaching the heaven and the abode of their revered God Shiva and his consort Goddess Parvati.

Day 05: Kerung Full day acclimatization
Day 06: Kerung to Saga /Dongba(4500mts. – 375kms)
Day 07: Saga/Dongba (4500mts. – 335kms) to Mansarovar
Day 08: Mansarovar to Darchen (4600mts. – 110kms.)
Day 09: Darchen to Diraphuk (4890mts. – 12kms.)
Day 10: Diraphuk to Zhulthulphuk (4790mts. – 22kms.)
Day 11: Zhulthulphuk to Saga/Dongba
Day 12: Saga/Dongba to Kerung
Day 13: Kerung to Katmandu
Day 14: Katmandu
