Nepal panorama tour is designed for travelers with a desire for varied adventure. This adventure package will be two weeks long but travelers can change or extend according to their holiday schedule. We will need a larger group, therefore, we will create a group with numerous guests for Nepal panorama tours.

Day 01: Arrive at Kathmandu 1,300m and transfer to Hotel. Day 02: A day in Kathmandu with sightseeing tour. Day 03: Drive to Nagarkot 2 hrs drive. Day 04: Drive to Pokhara with a tour of Bhaktapur. Day 05 – 06: In Pokhara sightseeing tour at places of interest. Day 07: Morning free, afternoon fly/drive  back to Kathmandu. Day 08: Transfer to airport for final departure.

Day 01: Arrive at Kathmandu and transfer to Hotel. On arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport meet our staff with GA complimentary transport transfer to relevant Hotels, our guide will give you briefing of the Hotel, Kathmandu, Tours and related information that you might require while in Nepal with Great Adventure Treks & Expeditions.

Day 02: Half day guided sightseeing tour in Kathmandu. After your first night in Kathmandu, you will be well informed on arrival about the time for your sightseeing tour in Kathmandu at places of interest.

After breakfast GA interesting toura drive towards Pashupatinath Temple one of the holy Hindu Temple. Situated 5-kms east of Kathmandu, the temple of Lord Shiva-Pashupatinath with two tiered golden roof and silver doors is famous for its superb architecture. Visitors can clearly seen the temple and the activities performed in the temple premises from the eastern bank of the Bagmati River. Apart from Hindu’s no one are allowed to enter the main Temple premises, however we take a short walk by the bank of Bagmati River where one can observe the pilgrims and Hindu priests activities. This River is also a cremation site of the Hindu’s. From here a short drive leads to the Bouddhanath north east from Pashupatinath area.

The Stupa of Bouddhanath lays 8-kms east of Kathmandu. This colossal and ancient stupa is one of the biggest in the world. This area is also known as ‘Little Tibet’ after a visit here observing the Tibetan Buddhist way of life, our tour continues towards Patan area, which is situated on the south of Kathmandu, and it is separated by a bridge over the River Bagmati. Patan is also known as Lalitpur meaning city of Arts. As you enter the old Palace courtyard (Durbar) the tall terracotta house looks fascinating with intricate window carvings, and the Stone Temple of Krishna with the pillar of Garuda the vehicle of Lord Vishnu and as well of Lord Krishna. After the historic visit a short drive leads towards the end of Patan area at Tibetan Refugee camp where one can observe the happy-cheerful workers weaving carpets. This place was established in the early 1970’s after the Chinese invasion in Tibet where a great number of Tibetan migrated here, and the Nepal Government established this place as a permanent camp or settlement for the Tibetan Refugees, after a wonderful day with lunch at Patan area, drive back to the Hotel.

Day 03: Drive to Nagarkot 2 hrs drive. At the hotel GA guide pick you at the given time, afternoon time would be idle, after lunch in Kathmandu a scenic drive in the busy area of Kathmandu leads you to the suburb where the traffic fades slowly and then just by the outskirt of Bhaktapur, the drive climbs for an hour reaches at Nagarkot, on arrival check in at respective Mountain Resorts offering great views of the snow capped peaks with sunsets and sunrise in comfort of the Hotels and Resorts.

Day 04: Drive to Kathmandu airport and fly to Pokhara with a tour of Bhaktapur. After sunrise over the chain of mountains, departure after breakfast for the downhill drive towards Bhaktapur for sightseeing at places of interest in the old Durbar Square of Bhaktapur a short distance from Kathmandu and Nagarkot. After a wonderful time here, drive to the airport for the short flight to Pokhara, a short scenic flight brings to the stunning Pokhara Valley. Pokhara is the second largest township in Nepal and enjoys a beautiful setting beside the large lake of Phewa, Rupa and Begnas. From here are magnificent views of Mt. Maccahapuchare the famous fishtail peak, with time in the late afternoon or evening to have a look around the town which is situated on the mid-west Nepal.

Day 05 – 06: In Pokhara sightseeing tour at places of interest. These two days you will be busy with tour at places of interest in Pokhara with the constant panoramic views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri range of mountains including the majestic Mt. Maccahapuchare.

In Pokhara as per the program given: Morning a short drive to Sarankot for the sunrise over the chain of snow capped mountains overlooking the beautiful Pokhara Valley with the Phewa Lake. Visit the Brindabhasini Temple premises and the Seti Gorge. Afternoon visit the Devi’s fall (David) or Pathele chhago, Maheswor Cave and Tibetan Refugee Camp. Morning boat ride to other side of Phewa Lake and hike to Peace Stupa return with the boat visiting Bhare Temple on the way back to the Hotel.

Day 07: Afternoon fly to Kathmandu and transfer to Hotel. After lunch transfer to the Pokhara Airport as per the afternoon flight time and fly back to Kathmandu, evening dinner at typical Nepali restaurant.

Day 08:  Transfer to airport for final departure. As per the International flight time GA staff transfer you to airport for your final departure from this rich, scenic cultural country Nepal.

KATHMANDU & NAGARKOT: The Kathmandu Valley is indeed a unique valley, wearing an exotic setting. Twenty-five centuries of history. It is completely surrounded by a tier of Green Mountain walls above which to the north tower the mighty snowcapped peaks during the winter. It consists of four major cities carrying great historic, artistic and cultural interest. Nagarkot is located 30 km to the east of Kathmandu on the valley rim; Nagarkot is the favorite weekend gateway for those who seek Himalayan Scenery and rural serenity. From Nagarkot, you witness the stunning view of mountains that extend all the way from Dhaulagiri in the west past Mt. Everest to Kanchenjunga in the east. The surrounding countryside of Nagarkot is great for walking.  Nagarkot is situated at an elevation of (2,175 m.) and provides a grandstand panorama of the Himalaya. You can see five of the world’s tallest mountains – Everest (8,848m.), Lhotse (8,516m.), Cho Oyu (8,201m.), Makalu (8,463m.) – and many other lesser summits. The snow peaks look especially gorgeous during sunset and sunrise.

POKHARA VALLEY: Pokhara is one of the most unique sub-tropical valley in the Himalaya and probably in the world, where one can marvel the beauty of the Himalayan landscape  and reflection of the Annapurna massif including the towering majestic peak of Mt. Maccahapuchare on its beautiful lakes..

Pokhara is situated in the mid western Nepal. It is linked by the main highway of 200 km driving distance from Kathmandu, and by air approximately 20 to 30 minutes flight with  a sweeping panoramic view of the mid western Himalaya.
