Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive in Kathmandu (1,300m) and transfer to Hotel.
Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, you will be greeted by your guide and transferred to your hotel. After checking in, you’ll have the rest of the day to unwind and relax. If time permits, take a short walk around the vibrant Thamel area, where you can get a glimpse of Kathmandu’s lively atmosphere with shops, restaurants, and cafes. Enjoy a comfortable overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 2: A day in Kathmandu with sightseeing tour.
On your second day, you’ll embark on a full-day sightseeing tour of Kathmandu. The day starts with a visit to Pashupatinath Temple , an important Hindu pilgrimage site, and then continue to the Boudhanath Stupa , one of the largest Buddhist stupas in Nepal. You’ll also explore the Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple) , which offers panoramic views of the Kathmandu Valley, and the cultural heart of the city, Kathmandu Durbar Square , home to ancient temples and royal palaces. After a full day of exploration, return to your hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 3: Drive from Kathmandu to Chitwan National Park by tourist bus ( 175m ) ( 6-7 hrs)
After breakfast, you’ll take a scenic 6-7 hour drive to Chitwan National Park , a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for its wildlife. The route takes you through picturesque countryside landscapes, with views of rural villages, rivers, and lush forests. Upon arrival, check into your lodge or resort and relax in the tranquil surroundings of the park. The evening is free to enjoy the lodge’s amenities or take a leisurely walk around the area. Stay overnight in Chitwan.
Day 4: Chitwan National Park Jungle Activities
A day of adventure awaits in Chitwan National Park. You’ll start with a canoe ride on the Rapti River , where you can observe crocodiles, birds, and perhaps even some rhinos along the riverbanks. Next, enjoy a jeep safari or nature walk into the park’s interior, where you may spot wildlife like the one-horned rhinoceros , Bengal tigers , and various exotic bird species. In the evening, you’ll be treated to a traditional Tharu cultural dance performance, offering a taste of the local indigenous culture. Overnight stay at the lodge.
Day 5: Drive from Chitwan to Lumbini (Birth place of lord Buddha) (135 km) (3-4 hrs)
On Day 5, you’ll head to Lumbini , the birthplace of Lord Buddha. The 3-4 hour drive takes you through rural Nepal, providing a glimpse of daily life in the countryside. Upon arrival, check into your hotel before visiting Maya Devi Temple , the sacred site where Lord Buddha was born, as well as the Ashoka Pillar and Lumbini Garden. Spend some time in reflection in this peaceful, spiritual destination. Stay overnight in Lumbini.
Day 6: Lumbini to Pokhara via Tansen and Palpa by tourist bus ( 170 km ) ( 5-6 hrs )
After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive from Lumbini to Pokhara , passing through the towns of Tansen and Palpa. This journey takes around 5-6 hours and offers views of the countryside, small villages, and hills. You’ll reach Pokhara , a lakeside city known for its stunning views of the Annapurna Mountain Range. After checking into your hotel, enjoy the evening by Phewa Lake , where you can relax by the water or explore the lakeside area. Overnight in Pokhara.
Day 7: Sightseeing in Pokhara along with sunrise view from Sarangkot.
Start the day early with a trip to Sarangkot for a breathtaking sunrise over the Annapurna Range. After soaking in the views, you’ll return to Pokhara and visit some of the city’s famous sites, including Devi’s Falls , Gupteshwor Cave , and the World Peace Pagoda. These spots offer insight into Pokhara’s natural beauty and spiritual significance. Day 8: Travel from Pokhara to Nagarkot ( 230 km) ( 8-9 hrs ).

The journey takes approximately 8-9 hours, but the stunning views along the way make the drive worthwhile. Upon arrival, check into your hotel in Nagarkot and enjoy the cool mountain air. Nagarkot is famous for its views of the Everest Region and the surrounding peaks, so take the evening to relax and enjoy the breathtaking surroundings. Overnight stay in Nagarkot.
Day 9: Drive from Nagarkot to Kathmandu and free time in Kathmandu
Wake up early for a spectacular sunrise over the Himalayas from Nagarkot. After breakfast, you’ll drive back to Kathmandu (approximately 1.5-2 hours). Upon arrival, the rest of the day is free for you to enjoy Kathmandu at your own pace. You can visit the bustling Thamel market, shop for souvenirs, or relax at a local café. If you wish, you can also explore more of the city's cultural sites. Enjoy your last evening in Kathmandu, reflecting on your journey. Overnight in Kathmandu.
Day 10: Final Departure
On your final day, depending on your flight schedule, you may have some time to do last-minute shopping or explore more of Kathmandu. Later, you’ll be transferred to Tribhuvan International Airport for your departure flight. This marks the end of your memorable Nepal adventure.

Good experience in Buthan tour
I joined the tour of Buthan for 3 nights. Although the price is high because I am in a solo trip, the quality is good! Buthan is the cleanest country in the world! You don’t need to worry about anything just be happy and excited to join the tour! I just went for 3nights-tour, but I did visit Paro, Thimpu, Punakha ! Although not every sighting sites that would visit, the important sites would not miss! This is my second time join the tour in this travel agency, and I was satiated with it every time ! They will handle everything well.
