Good experience in Buthan tour

I joined the tour of Buthan for 3 nights. Although the price is high because I am in a solo trip, the quality is good! Buthan is the cleanest country in the world! You don’t need to worry about anything just be happy and excited to join the tour! I just went for 3nights-tour, but I did visit Paro, Thimpu, Punakha ! Although not every sighting sites that would visit, the important sites would not miss! This is my second time join the tour in this travel agency, and I was satiated with it every time ! They will handle everything well.

Amazing trips in Nepal 🤩

It was our first time in Nepal, and we spent 7 wonderful days visiting Kathmandu and Pokhara. Sudam was an excellent guide — professional, friendly, and very thoughtful. He introduced us to local restaurants and unique spots, making the trip more authentic. Thanks to him, we enjoyed not only the amazing scenery but also the local lifestyle. Unforgettable memories! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Everest Base Camp Helicopter Tour Frequently Asked Question (FAQs)

Expand all

Q1. Is Everest Base Camp Helicopter Tour safe for me?

Safety is always our primary concern so there is no doubt that this tour is safe from every aspect. And we make sure of it by arranging reliable and powerful helicopters for the tour with our highly experienced pilots.

Likewise, we even take care of your safety throughout your journey. As the helicopter takes you to high altitude above 5000 meters, we make sure you don’t get altitude sickness. Moreover, we make sure you stay at the highest vantage point like Kala Patthar for a calculated amount of time. It is necessary as you won’t be able to acclimatize at such altitudes in a short period. So, for your health concern, we will take regular breaks with calculated minutes. So, you can get comfortable and well adapted to the environment.

Q2. Is there any age boundary for EBC Heli Tour?

No, there is not any age limit for the tour so people of all ages can opt for it. Similarly, this tour is for those who are time bound or want to avoid physical exhaustion. Thus, even children or elderly people can go for it without any restrictions. But make sure you are in the best form of your health without any complications.

Q3. I am a solo traveler. Do I have to take a private heli tour or can join a group for Everest Base Camp Helicopter Tour?

It doesn’t matter if you are a solo traveler or a group. We can arrange any type of tour as per your preference. Also, in the seasonal time, we have regular flights every day. You can contact us and share your preference and we will take care of the rest.

Q4. What is the maximum number of people who can join the group in the Heli Tour?

The number of persons in a group depends on their weight and the helicopter you are onboarding. But, on average, five to six people can fly at once in a helicopter tour. To maintain balance while flying is a must. So, there won’t be more than six people in a group for the EBC Heli Tour.

Q5. What is the highest altitude that the Everest Base Camp Helicopter Tour would take off?

Your tour would start from Kathmandu which is at an altitude of 13000 meters. It then takes you to Lukla Airport at 2860m. From there, you will get to your vantage points like Kala Patthar (5545m) and Everest Base Camp (5364m). About the highest altitude, the helicopter would encircle around 6500-7000 meters. It would also depend on the type of helicopter you are on board.

Q6. Are the pilots experienced enough?

You don’t have to worry about it all. All of our heli-pilots are experienced for flying around those altitudes on mountainous terrain. They are well known about every location and have entire information related to peaks. They are in every way concerned for your safety so it speaks for their experience itself.

Q7. Can I hire a guide for this tour?

If you wish to know more about the region, we can arrange an experienced guide for your private tour. You might have to pre-inform us for that. But this process isn’t compulsory. You can get enough information during the trip by our friendly and experienced pilots.

Q8. Does the flight land at Everest Base Camp too?

Yes, the helicopter will land at Everest Base Camp too. But that would depend upon the weather condition and wind speed. So, as for us, your safety comes first the landing cannot be guaranteed.

But for your information, Kala Patthar is the best viewpoint of the entire Everest region. You cannot view mountainous peaks from Everest Base Camp. It is famous for the view of Khumbu Icefalls and glaciers. You can observe these views from your flight with ease.

Q9. How long is the landing time at Base Camp and Kala Patthar?

You will be encircling around some highest altitudes like 5000 and 6000 meters. Thus, there is a high chance of getting altitude sickness. Thus, it is not a good idea to stay at those vantage points for a longer time. That is why the landing time at Base Camp and Kala Patthar is from 10-15 minutes.

But this time would be enough for you to capture mesmerizing views of all the majestic peaks. Also, you will get enough time to enjoy their view from the helicopter. So, the landing time might be short for safety reasons, you will get ample time to enjoy surroundings.

Q10. Do you have Oxygen tanks in Helicopters?

Yes, we do have oxygen tanks inside the helicopters. It is indeed a crucial thing that we can’t miss. Also, the level of oxygen is automatically maintained within for coping up with the environment above 3000 meters.

Q11. What happens if bad weather hits and the flight doesn’t take off?

Weather in the Everest region is hard to predict due to their paramount heights. Sometimes the bad weather hits and flight may not take off. In this case, we’ll fix your tour next morning. If you are unable to take the next scheduled flight, you can also get a refund. But that would depend on booking terms and conditions.

Q 12. How can I book this flight with your company?

Booking Everest Base Camp Helicopter Tour with us is an easy and hassle-free process. You can book a tour from any part of the world online or through email or phone. You can also contact us via our social channels. Our support will provide you a quick response. All you have to mention is the preferred day of your trip with a copy of your passport.
